Pain  and  Patience

—   Too bad these people were so evil and sadistic   —

…and so many

Were so quiet.

As mentioned earlier, I was going to list the names of all the people involved, but they are too many for this space. And, it's true, the names really are that many, so, they deserved their own site.

Thirty–Two Years  +  1

I began writing this particular page [Names & Places] in 2024. Most of this started back in 1992, hence the above headline 'Pain and Patience'.

Note: Some of these people no longer reside/work in Sweden/Europe.

Please keep this in mind: Regardless of how orthopedic your injuries are from the beginning, they will always try to steer you toward psychiatry.

Also note: It took thirteen years [1992 – 2005] before I had my first
experience with Swedish psychiatry.

Reminder:  "The process is the punishment."

Should anyone find my human rights around somewhere, let me know.

Side Note:  On occasion, throughout this ordeal, I've even been accused of being angry, in regards to what I'm writing about here.  Imagine that!

Brief Background

I spent time in America during the years 1986 – 1992.

In 1992, while in the US, I had my car crash. This is also where I got my initial injuries. Here, again, I think it's important to point out that my initial injuries, I brought upon myself.

Something else very important:  My own heart is still thumpin' thanks to some very beautiful people  –  Akron, Ohio, August 16, 1992

Also, I didn't hurt anyone else, and, I took full responsibilty for my actions at the time   …and, very much so, after.

Note: At the time, I only had 'liability' on my car. The liability covered the expenses for the road sign and guard rail I smashed, and my hospital stay, not so much more.

Since I was at fault, not a dime my way   …so, there's that!

•   This year was also the first time I heard about the CAPS test.

•   We decided to communicate to the authors of the CAPS that
their test wasn't being used in Sweden as it was intended.

*  Notes  *

Note 1:  In 2015, I had previously read about something called PTSD and, of course, became concerned. I also felt relieved, thinking that this could explain much of my own situation.

When I brought up the subject of PTSD to the doctor responsible for my case, Cecilia Brain, she just looked at me funny, avoided my question, and changed the subject. At the time, I didn't know better and "blissfully ignorant" accepteted this.

A little later on, I requested to be dismissed and removed from this institution. When I did this, I was questioned if I really wanted 'out'.

This happened at least five times, if I remember correctly.

Personally, I think that it should be enough to say something like this once, but that's me.

Anymore, I know much better.

The doctor in charge of the institution: Cecilia Brain.

My life today would've been different had I known about the CAPS test back then, for sure.

Note 2:  In 2005 [counting from 1992], after thirteen years, my first contact with 'psychiatry'. I had a reaction when I tried, on my own, to quit very strong painkilllers.

It was at first speculated if I suffered a psychosis.

Me having a psychosis, was never confirmed. Instead, it turns out the symptoms I was having was related to PTSD. This, of course, we didn't know until much later.

Between 2005 – 2015, the Nå–Ut Teamet [Sahlgrenska, Psykiatri] had me under observation and investigation for a potential "minor pshychosis".

We later learned that there is no such thing as a minor pshychosis.

In their own words: "We cannot diagnose Magnus with psychosis."

For ten years!

You're not allowed to treat someone like this.

     Note 1 *

     Note 3 *

In 2020, they had me [again] considered for [still] suffering a psychoisis [this time Sahlgrenska, Psykiatri Väster].

Although a doctor had already diagnosed me with PTSD prior, in order to have my injuries declared physical [orthopedic/neuropathic], I was supposed to come and prove to them I didn't have a psychosis.

The burden of proof was/is backwards. Remember, they never diagnosed me with psychosis, because they couldn't.

     Note 4 *

Note 5:  In 2019, I finally got the diagnosis for PTSD, officially.

Twenty–five [+] years from onset date.

Diagnosis based on the CAPS test.

     Onset:  January, 1993

     Diagnosis:  Extreme PTSD [2019]

However, and as mentioned in Note 2 * above:

"Although a doctor had already diagnosed me with PTSD prior, in order to have my injuries declared physical [orthopedic/neuropathic], I was supposed to come and prove to them I didn't have a psychosis.

The burden of proof was/is backwards. Remember, they never diagnosed me with psychosis, because they couldn't."
